We were asked to perform at the Ode to Canada Tour acoustic showcase in Milliken Mills Park. The show was superbly organized by Angel – thanks so much for your enthusiasm and organizational skills, Angel!
This was the first time in a long time we played a totally acoustic set, with acoustic bass and two acoustic guitars. Drums have always been acoustic, but Neel used quieter “rod sticks” so as not to overpower the quieter acoustic equipment.
We introduced a new cover song from a long-renowned Canadian folk singer-songwriter – Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot.
